Poliform inaugurates a new monobrand store in the capital of the United States, within the exclusive Design District.
Poliform Washington is the latest international destination for Poliform, a new showroom that consolidates the brand’s presence in the United States and follows the recent restyling of Poliform Miami.
The monobrand store is located in the university district, which is also the historic district of Georgetown: the most iconic and indeed the oldest district in the city, which is criss-crossed by fascinating buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Specifically, Poliform Washington is part of Cady’s Alley, the Design District of Washington, the result of a major commercial and residential redevelopment project, which brings together the main international design and furniture brands, alongside fashion and antiques boutiques.
Poliform Washington therefore fits into this framework with a nineteenth-century twist, recontextualised in modern times. 900 square metres in total, spanning two floors, house the Poliform collection in its entirety, illuminated by the large windows on two sides of the building: in the facade and on the opposite side. The exhibited range is rich and varied, and the configurations resemble the environment, to recreate the ideal of a complete home: living area and lounge, dining room and kitchen, bedroom and walk-in wardrobes. The major innovations in upholstery, furniture and accessories, as well as the large architectural systems define the space, in a harmonious presentation of the ideal of contemporary living by Poliform.
