A harmonious dialogue between refined materials and sensory combinations defines Poliform Contract’s project for Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan. The company’s excellence in bespoke craftsmanship blends seamlessly with Studio Urquiola’s creativity, creating a concept meticulously detailed in every aspect. Poliform designed both structural elements and custom-made furnishings, employing soft, neutral hues for the hotel’s 116 rooms and suites, and more vibrant combinations for public areas—from the reception and lobby, through the all-day lounge bar, to the hotel’s three restaurants.

In the common areas, designed for socializing and conviviality, Poliform Contract crafted bespoke atmospheres through a perfect balance of architectural elements, furnishings, and decorative details. Spaces characterized by pronounced textures and vivid colors reflect Poliform’s expertise, expressed in counters, wall paneling, ceilings, and an array of custom furniture, including fixed benches, chairs, and stools. Poliform’s signature extends from the lobby to the adjoining all-day lounge bar “Casa Brera Living,” the Japanese restaurant “Odachi,” curated by chef Haruo Ichikawa, the “Scena” restaurant, and the stunning rooftop skybar and restaurant “Etereo,” overseen by chef Andrea Berton.
Poliform shaped the 116 guest rooms, including 15 suites, as comfortable and relaxing retreats. A warm, neutral palette, natural materials, and soft textures characterize these spaces from the architectural frame itself: fluted walnut boiserie alternating with lacquered surfaces, fabric-lined niches, and glass partitions in the bathrooms.
Each element enriches a sophisticated sensory experience, complemented by custom furnishings (bedside tables, coffee tables, bed bases and headboards, sofas, benches, and vanity mirrors) that blend soft upholstery with decorative accents—mirrored surfaces, brass details, and wooden inserts.
