Among the most luxurious hotels in London, the Café Royal on Regent Street has been renovated in recent years by two of the most important names in contemporary architecture and design: David Chipperfield Architects and Studio Lissoni. The result is a hotel where history and modernity coexist, with rooms and suites characterised by refined simplicity.
Poliform Contract collaborated on both the design of the rooms and the public areas, creating the furnishings – including the leather-covered wardrobes of the suites – and the custom-made elements in the public areas, such as the cafeteria counter covered in yellow marble with a glass wine bar.
